Thanks for finding my page! My name is Alvin. I'm a professional saxophonist and music educator based in downtown Toronto, Ontario. I have been a music educator for the past 7 years. I'm passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of musicians, helping them grow both artistically and personally. What do I teach?

I provide saxophone lessons for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation, including proper posture, hand positioning, and developing a solid embouchure for a clear, controlled sound. You'll also learn how to develop a full, resonant tone and explore techniques to emulate the sound of some of the greatest saxophonists of our time.

My lessons also include music reading and improvisational skills, with a focus on genres such as jazz, blues, classical, pop, and r&b. I also integrate both classical and jazz music theory into my lessons to deepen students' musical understanding and versatility.
