Hello! Thanks for finding my blog. My name is Alvin and I’m a passionate piano teacher in Toronto, Ontario. For the past 10 years, I’ve had the joy of performing and teaching—and there’s nothing more fulfilling than helping young musicians grow in skill, confidence, and creativity.
At Aryze Studio, I offer beginner private piano lessons for kids in Toronto, Ontario. I teach students proper piano posture and hand position. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation in piano that sets them up for long-term success as confident, well-rounded musicians.
What I Teach:
Students will develop the ability to read music fluently on both the treble and bass clefs. They will also learn basic sight reading and ear training skills. I also introduce students to the basics of music theory—like playing chords and scales, recognizing intervals, and even creating their own simple melodies.
My Teaching Style:
I design my lessons to be both fun and effective, always adapting to each student’s interests and learning pace. Whether it’s through drawing, musical games, or creative exploration, I use a mix of teaching styles to build strong, well-rounded piano skills in a way that feels exciting and personal.
